Among the 12 azhwars, Andal is very special. She was the epitome of Bhakti who thought of Sriviliputtur as Mathura and herself as a Gopi and did Bhakti to the Lord! Her Bhakti moved Lord Ranganathar of Srirangam that He assumed a human form and came to wed her!
